  • You give us permission to publish, edit and promote your listing.
  • Basic listings are free for now. We may charge for listings or featured placements in future, and will give you 30 days' notice by email before any charge applies to your existing listing.

This summary doesn't replace the full terms below.

1. About these terms

These terms apply when you apply for, or have, a listing in the OneToolSite business directory at onetoolsite.com. "We", "us" and "our" mean the operator of OneToolSite. "You" means the person submitting the listing and the business they list.

By ticking the box on the application form and submitting it, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't submit a listing.

2. Your authority to list

You confirm that you are at least 18 years old and that you own or manage the business, or have the business's permission to list it and accept these terms on its behalf.

3. Permission to publish your listing

You give us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to publish, copy, display, format, edit for length, clarity or style, translate, categorise and promote the information and content you provide, including your business name, for as long as your listing is on our site, plus a reasonable period to remove it from backups and partner services. This includes showing your listing on our website, in search results, in our emails and social media posts, and on websites or apps we partner with.

You confirm you have the right to give us this licence and that our use of your content won't infringe anyone's rights.

4. Accuracy of your listing

You're responsible for the information in your listing. You confirm it is true, current and not misleading or deceptive, including under the Australian Consumer Law, and that it doesn't break any law or infringe anyone's rights. You agree to tell us promptly about any changes.

5. Our review and editorial control

We check listings before publishing, but we don't verify every detail. We may, at our discretion and without having to give a reason: approve or refuse any application; edit, categorise or reword a listing; decide the order and prominence in which listings appear; and suspend or remove any listing at any time. We have no obligation to publish or keep publishing any listing.

6. Free listings, paid services and how we earn money

Basic listings are currently free. We may introduce fees in future, including for basic listings, renewals, featured or sponsored placement, "Recommended" status, advertising, enhanced listings or customer referrals.

Before any fee applies to your existing listing, we'll email you at least 30 days' notice. If you don't want to pay, you can ask us to remove your listing, and we won't charge you. Any paid services will have their own price and terms, which you'll accept separately before paying.

We may show advertising, sponsored content and affiliate links on our site, including next to your listing, and we may sell featured placements to any business, including your competitors. We keep all revenue from these, and you are not entitled to any payment or share. A free listing doesn't guarantee any position, traffic, enquiries or customers.

7. "Recommended" and "Sponsored" labels

"Recommended" means we have chosen to feature a business. We give and remove this label at our discretion. "Sponsored" means the business paid or gave us something for its placement, and we always label sponsored placements.

8. Your contact details and privacy

The details you mark as public (such as phone, website and email) are shown on your listing, and others may see or copy them. Your private contact details are used to verify and manage your listing and to contact you about it and about our services, including paid listing options. You can opt out of marketing emails at any time. We don't sell your private contact details.

9. Dealings with customers

We're a directory only. We're not part of any dealing between you and a customer, and we don't endorse, guarantee or take responsibility for any business, product or service listed, unless we expressly say otherwise.

10. Liability

Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law or other laws that can't be excluded. Subject to that, we provide the directory "as is", without warranties, and we're not liable for any loss arising from your listing, its removal, errors on our site, or the site being unavailable. Where our liability can be limited, it is limited to the amount you paid us for the relevant service in the 12 months before the claim.

11. Indemnity

You indemnify us against any claim, loss or cost (including reasonable legal costs) arising from your listing content or your breach of these terms.

12. Removing your listing

You can ask us to remove your listing at any time using the details below. We'll remove it within 14 days. Copies may remain in search engine caches or archives that we don't control.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We'll post the new version on this page with a new date, and email you about material changes to the email you gave us. If you keep your listing after the change takes effect, you accept the updated terms. If you don't agree, you can ask us to remove your listing.

14. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia. You and we submit to the courts of Victoria.

15. Contact us

To update or remove a listing, or ask about these terms, use the "Send updated details" link on your listing or submit the listing form with a note, and we'll reply to the email you provide.
